The 2023 International Trade Contest Final for National Business Elites Challenge Contest wound up on October 23rd, and 5 SHNU teams from School of Business, Xiejin Film and Television Arts College, International College of Chinese Studies, School of International Studies, College of Tourism, School of Education and School of Environmental and Geographical Studies won 2 national top prizes, 3 national first prizes, breaking the record in SHNU history. Meanwhile, SHNU won again the Best Organization Prize for Universities.
After rounds of competitions, the 40 SHNU students winners stood out for their international visions and innovative practice abilities. About half of them major in international cooperative education programs. For the first time, SHNU has sent candidates to compete at minority language skills. The SHNU students of economics (sino-French cooperative programs) won the first prize for their designing a portable power bank in name of Shenzhen Mike High-tech Company. This marks the sufficient strengths of SHNU in terms of international cooperative education and international talents fostering.
Sponsored by China International Trade Promotion Committee, the National University Business Elites Challenge Contest is included on the list of China Contest Rank for University Students. This time, the contest involved 323 teams of 172 universities from 26 provinces and regions across China.
