Sponsored by Municipal Shanghai People’s Government, the UNESCO and National Committee of UNESCO China, the 2023 WDCC2023 (World Design Capital Conference) was officially initiated on September 26th .
Serving as an important part of WDCC, the Shanghai Design 100+ is a new mode of joining the Urban Network of Creativity and also provides a world-class platform for enterprises and designers. The included works not only represent the design power of Shanghai, but also a hallmark of the world’s capitals.
It attracted 2,542 outstanding programs from as many as 18 countries and regions, such as China, the US, France, Italy and Spain. The final winners’ list was decided from 160,000 public votes, 100 scholars’ votes and those from 16 industrial department in the 16 districts of Shanghai.
The Shift One-handed Remote Drone, works by Liu Peisheng from SHNU College of Fine Arts, was selected into the Shanghai Design 100+.
