Recently, the undergraduates of SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering won one national first prize, two second prizes (Shanghai Region), and seven third prizes (Shanghai Region). Three SHNU teachers from the same SHNU college won the Outstanding Instructor’s Prize and SHNU won the Best Organization Prize (Shanghai Region).
Sponsored by China Ministry of Education, the National Electronic Design Contest is a disciplinary competition for university students and recognized as one of the most influential scientific contests for Chinese universities. Altogether 14 teams from SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering won 10 third prizes and other better prizes, breaking a record in national prizes in recent years.
