October 1st marks the day of China National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival. SHNU celebrated the two festivals on the same day with a special flag-raising ceremony, which was attended by teachers and students representatives of the university.
Speeches were delivered by students representatives from College of Music and College of Chemistry and Material Sciences.
