TheOpeningCeremonyofSHNUCollegeofFilmandTVMediawasheldatNo.2LectureHallonJuly11th.ItwasattendedbySHNUPresidentZhuZiqiang,ViceSHNUPartySecretaryPeiXiaoqian,SHNUVicePresidentChenHeng,andrepresentativesfromSHNUCollegeofFilmandTVMedia.TheSHNUPresidentZhuZiqiangcongratulatedonthesuccessoffoundingofSHNUCollegeofFilmandTVMedia.Afterthat,Deanofthecollegeintroducedaboutthedevelopmentplansandobjectivesofpromotingartseducationandstrengtheningtheinfluenceofthiscollege.

Since2018,therehasbeenaneducationcooperativeagreementbetweenSHNUandUniversityofGeorgiathatundergraduatesfromSHNUCollegeofFilmandTVMediawouldstartoneyearoflearningintheUSafterspendingfirstthreeyearsinSHNU.FiveSHNUstudentsofthisprogramwereselectedforthisprogram:theyarenationaladvertisingcontestwinnerswhohaveoutstandingexpertiseofadvertisingandforeignlanguagecommunicationsabilities.TheseSHNUstudentswouldstudyadvertisingatUniversityofGeorgiathisAugust.
