Recently, the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), themed Recycling Carbon, New Industry, New Economy, was held at 23rd China Convention on Exhibition Center. This exhibition involves 7 SHNU scientific results and won the Best Organization Prize conferred by Organizing Committee of University Area, CIIF. Among them, the program from Bian Zhenfeng, professor from SHNU College of Chemistry and Materials Science, won the Outstanding Exhibit Prize for Recycling of Environmentally-friendly Precious Metals, and Meng Qi, SHNU staff member from Department of Science and Technology won the title Outstanding Individual.
On September 20th, SHNU signed three patents-granting contracts on Metal Dissolving Agent and Solutions for Photo-catalysis with Wuxing District of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province and Center of Science and Technology Development for Universities in Shanghai.
The CIIF attracted 87 universities to exhibit their latest scientific products, including 20 universities in Shanghai, 6 overseas universities. Altogether 815 exhibits were on display.
