Recently, the research team led by Lou Bendong, Professor from SHNU College of Mathematics and Science, published an academic paper Translating solutions of a generalized mean curvature flow in a cylinder: I. Constant boundary angles at Journal de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées. Founded in 1836, it is the second most ancient mathematics journal in the world, and one of the 27 members of T1 journals designated by China Mathematical Society.
Professor Lou’s team first introduced the skills of evaluating an agreed curvature which plays a decisive role in providing a new perspective and method for boundlessness of curvature. His team dedicates to analyzing nonlinear and non-equilibrium characteristics by taking advantage of differential equation. His research results have won the second prize at Shanghai Natural Science Award. His paper can be reached by clicking https://doi.org/10.1016/j.matpur.2023.06.003 .
