Recently, according to CSC (China Scholarship Council), twelve SHNU students won qualifications for Government-sponsored Postgraduates from National Construction of High-level University, with the number of enrolment and the enrolment rate breaking a new record.
Seven SHNU master’s degree candidates from SHNU College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, SHNU School of Humanities, SHNU College of Philosophy, Law and Political Science, SHNU College of Mathematics and Science, SHNU College of Chemistry and Materials Science and SHNU College of Environmental and Geographical Sciences won opportunities to continue their doctoral degree program in Netherlands and France, etc. Another five doctoral degree candidates from SHNU College of Mathematics and Science, and ICCS (SHNU International College of Chinese Studies) would take a collaborative education opportunity to learn in University of Pennsylvania in the US, University of Strathclyde in the UK, University of Wales, Swansea, and Utrecht University in Netherlands, etc.
The program of CSC aims at cultivating talents with international visions, and international rules and professional expertise and innovation. It has two categories: doctoral degree programs and collaborative education programs for doctoral students. It has become a prime platform to select first-class students to further academic learning in top universities and scientific institutions.
