Recently, the 8th National Final of Life Sciences Contest ended. It falls into two groups: the group of innovation and business-starting and the other one of scientific research, which came to a close on July 26th at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and on August 18th at Nanjing Normal University respectively. The SHNU candidates won 1 first prize in the group of innovation and business-starting, 2 first prizes and 3 third prizes in another group.
Founded by China National Committee of Life Sciences Competition for University Students, it is recognised as one of the 57 level-A disciplines contests by China Ministry of Education. The contest aims at guiding university students’ capabilities to innovate, research and start business.
It is also noted that SHNU College of Life Sciences won the 2024 bid for sponsoring the final for Shanghai Area at National Life Sciences Contest for University Students.
