Recently, the 10th Datang Cup National Final of New-Aged Information and Telecommunications Technology was held at North China University of Technology (NCUT). Four SHNU students from College of Information and Mechanical Engineering entered the national final for Undergraduates’ Group B. These candidates won a first prize and a second prize respectively at the National Final.
Altogether 48 SHNU students entered for the contest: 4 of them won the first prize at provincial level and also qualified the final; another 12 of them won the second prize at the provincial level and 16 of them won the third prize at the provincial level, with the total winner’s rate of 67 percent.
The Datang Cup Information and Telecommunications Contest is sponsored by China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and China Communications Enterprise Association,and is recognised as one of the most high-ranking mobile communication competition for developing innovative talents of 5G technology. It attracted more than 35,000 candidates from more than 500 universities across 31 regions in China.
