Recently, the China National Awarding Ceremony of Standard Language Promotion was held in Beijing, which marks the first event of its kind in the last 22 years.
In 2021, the SHNU ICCS (International College of Chinese Studies) Collaborative Language Office, and ICCS were approved to be the second batch of national language promotion base. Over the last two years, the ICCS has successfully sponsored the online training class for language education at Weining and Yanhe county, China’s southwestern Guizhou province. Meanwhile, Chinese and overseas students were selected to compete at Chinese Language Writing and Speaking Contests and achieve historic breakthroughs.
In recent years, the ICCS has been committed to promoting overseas Chinese language education, language survey and research of ethnic groups, pre-service and post-service training, as well as Putonghua training for housekeepers and childcare staffs.
