The Key National Research and Development Plan led by a professor from SHNU College of Environment and Geographic Sciences has been successfully wound up at SHNU on June 16th. The conference was also attended by representatives from China Academy of Sciences, East China Normal University, and Tongji University, etc.
The program aims at promoting scientific and innovative cooperation among international governments, and providing a solid foundation for the development of SHNU environment and geographic sciences, so as to promote the international influence and scientific strengths. This program marks the first one applied by a university college and funded by Chinese government. Also, it is the first key program of state-level scientific and technological innovation.
At the conference, the details on research situations home and abroad, research targets and technology routs, feasibility and arrangements, as well as expected results and risks analyses have been probed.
Further improvement on this program would be in effects to guarantee the progress of it.
