On June 19th, the Initiation Ceremony of Revitalization Bookshelf was held at Information Sharing Space on Fengxian Library, and attended by SHNU Vice President Jiang Mingjun, and representatives from SHNU library, College of Marxism and students of different colleges etc. The Ceremony was hosted by the Library curator, Professor Jia Tiefei.
Vice President Jiang pointed out in his speech that, as a key cultural project approved by Chinese government, the Revitalization Bookshelf is prefaced by Chinese President Xi Jinping, and is a large-scale historical book series themed with Chinese People’s Rejuvenation. It is expected that teachers and students can benefit from it and absorb their wisdom, improve values of concepts, and confirm beliefs so as to upgrade their education skills and facilitate academic progress.
Also, such facilities were kicked off: Reference Room at fourth floor of Fengxian Library, and Study Room for Postgraduates at first floor. Approximately, 188 extra seats are available for learning on both campuses.
