The Donation Ceremony of SHNU Huanchang Education Fund was held at Rm. 109, Waibinlou Building on June 16th. It was attended by SHNU Party Secretary Lin Zaiyong, SHNU alumnus and Beijing Guantao Zhongmao Laws Firm Partner Xu Yongjun and his family, and representatives from SHNU President’s Office, and SHNU College of Mathematics and Engineering.
SHNU Party Secretary Lin expressed gratitude to Xu Yongjun, and briefed on the significance of founding an education program in the name of his father, Huanchang Xu. Xu Yongjun also hoped that the Huanchang Foundation could play a role in disciplines construction, professional abilities cultivation and subjects competitions, etc.
The funds would be used in funding maths and physics contests and scholarships.
