The 2023 Awarding Ceremony of University Invention Contest was held at the 9th China (Shanghai) International Import&Export Technology Fair on June 15th. Sponsored by Shanghai Invention Association, and Shanghai Scientific Development Center for Universities, the contest aims at encouraging the teachers and students to start their innovation business and upgrading their abilities of business startup while strengthening their concepts of intellectual property rights protection and the conversion from research results to social applications.
The five SHNU students’ program Research & Development of UV-resistant Pesticide Sustained Release System won the silver prize and was displayed at the technology fair. It incorporates quite some disciplines, such as photo-catalysis, high polymer material and pesticide, etc. This program helps improve the field efficiency, facilitates the pesticide reduction and effects improvement, as well as the double carbon target in agriculture.
