The 4thChina Professor Cup Table Tennis Games kicked off at Handan Vocational College, Hebei Province from June 9thto 11th . Sponsored by Sports Health Vocational Education Group of Hebei Province, it attracted 278 university staff, including professors, from nearly 70 universities across China. The games fall into four categories: men’s single, women’s single, men’s double and women’s double and three age groups banded between 40 and 49, 50 and 59 and 60 and 70.
After three days of hard work, the SHNU team broke a historical record by winning a medal at Men’s Double. Professor Lu Song and Yu Zhixian came up the third at Men’s Double, Yu Zhixian ranked 5that Men’s Single, and Lu Song ranked 9that Men’s Single.
The games established a platform for professors to share their sports skills, refresh their friendship, and improve their health conditions.
