A cooperative education agreement was signed between SHNU and Chongming People’s Government on June 1st. According to that, the name of Zhengda Middle School of Chongming District was officially changed into Zhengda Middle School Attached to SHNU. The ceremony was attended by SHNU President Yuan Wen, Vic Party Secretary of Chongming District, and Director of Chongming District. It was also attended by representatives from Chongming Development and Reform Commission, Chongming Education Bureau, Chongming Bureau of Finance, Chongming Bureau of Resources Planning, and Chongming Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, etc.
Both sides agreed that more possibilities of cooperation would be centred around curricular distribution, innovation in education modes, teachers’ teamwork building and education environment upgrading.
In recent years, SHNU has already cooperated with Chongming government in establishing Dong Tan School Affiliated to Shanghai Experimental School, and Dong Tan Senior High School Affiliated to Shanghai Experimental School.
