The 9th Shanghai Sports Games for Teachers were held at Oriental Sports Center in Pudong District of Shanghai on June 3rd. More than 600 athletes and 62 teams from education system participated in the Games. Four SHNU female teachers from College of Physical Education, College of Humanities, College of Information and Mechanical Engineering and College of Marxist Studies joined in the swimming contest and won the runner-up at 4*50 swimming relay race, breaking the record of SHNU history at games of the same kind. After that, SHNU teachers kept on hard work at 50 meters free-style swimming, 50 meters breaststroke, and 50 meters backstroke and have won good prize in each competition.
The SHNU teams ranked 5th among all candidate teams for total scores in group A.
These candidates showcased the SHNU morale of meeting challenges and seeking breakthroughs in competitions.
