The 18th Challenge Cup Shanghai Final of Extracurricular Academic Scientific and Technological Works Contest ended on May 28th , and 14 SHNU works were awarded: 4 top prizes, 8 first prize, 1 second prize, and 1 third prize. Also, SHNU won the Outstanding Cup with the top marks at the contest.
SHNU candidates have been prepared for the games in forms of debates and professional training since last September. Altogether 284 works entered for preliminary round of SHNU selection and 14 of them rivaled at the contest after experts’ appraisal and on-the-scene debates. Particularly, 13 works stood out at the final and displayed their impressive passion, precise logic and optimal qualities for science and innovation.
As the Olympic grand event of university innovation, the Challenge Cup has as always insisting on the aim of paying homage to science, pursuing real knowledge, seeking the most cutting-edged technologies and keeping steadfast in meeting challenges.
