On the afternoon of September 17th, the "Skills Without Borders, Youth United!" Oath-taking Ceremony for Volunteers of the 48th WorldSkills Competition was held at the Friendship Hall of the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Representatives of our university's WorldSkills volunteers attended the event. All volunteers, in the spirit of youth, upheld the volunteer ethos of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress," committing themselves wholeheartedly to the volunteer services for the WorldSkills Competition.
This year, our university recruited a total of 112 volunteers for the WorldSkills Competition, including 2 long-term management vacancies and 110 service ones during the event (including 6 language volunteers).
The volunteers during the event primarily serve at key positions such as the WorldSkills Opening Ceremony Reception, the Bansongyuan Road Transfer Point, and core areas of the WorldSkills Expo, including the "Try Your Hand" Future Skills Exploration Zone, the "Future Little Craftsmen" Skills Experience Classroom, and the Career Planning Consultation Exhibition Zone.
The six language volunteers are primarily responsible for accompanying liaison officers to major diplomatic events such as the opening and closing ceremonies.
The SHNU specially created a series of themed cultural and creative products featuring the WorldSkills competition and incorporating elements of the university, including commemorative badges and phone lanyards.
