Three SHNU Athletes Selected to Join the Chinese delegation for the 20th Asian Games

On September 4^th, the mobilization meeting for the establishment of the Chinese sports delegation for the 20^thAsian Sports Games was held in Beijing. The Chinese sports delegation consists of 1,274 people, including 815 athletes, who will participate in 38 major events and 369 minor events. Among the delegation, three undergraduate students majoring in sports training from SHNU School of Physical Education, Li Liuchang, Jin Zhiheng and Yuan Haidi, were successfully selected to represent the Chinese team in the games. This is the first time for SHNU students to participate in such games, marking a historic breakthrough.

The 20^thAsian Games, one of the largest international comprehensive sports event, will be held in Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City, Japan, from September 19^thto October 4^th. It features 38 kinds of sports and 469 gold medals.
