At noon on May 21st, the immersive music and dance performance "Love at SHNU" was staged at the SHNU Xuhui Campus, jointly organized by the SHNU Department of Publicity and the SHNU School of Music. The performance integrated artistic forms such as music and dance with campus landscapes, presenting faculty and students with a uniquely immersive artistic feast.
At noon, in the SHNU artistic forest of Xiangzhangyuan, the dance "Distant Green Peaks" depicted picturesque landscapes with graceful movements, while the new Jiangnan silk and bamboo ensemble "Jiangnan Charm" blended with the shadows of wutong trees in a poetic interplay. The female soprano solo "A Toast to the Motherland" rang out with resounding melodies. On the lawn, the accordion ensemble "Little Swallow" played a lively tune, and the grand guzheng (Chinese zither) ensemble "The Dance of Willow Capital" launched majestic energy, revitalizing traditional folk music on campus. In the SHNU eastern artistic forest, the group song "Ten Thousand Miles of Spring Breeze" flowed like nourishing rain, while the cello quintet "The Story of Spring" resonated with deep emotion. The guzheng and dance performance "Magnolia Blossoms" perfectly fused the guzheng with dance.
In recent years, SHNU has continuously developed new cultural spaces for nurturing students, such as the "Eight Campus Scenic Spots" and the "Art Forest." During the campus culture showcase season, themed exhibitions and performances are held to ensure that every corner of the SHNU campus features a story.
