March 2ndmarked the first day of formal classes for the new semester at SHNU. In the morning, university leaders Lin Zaiyong, Chen Heng, Zhao Yang, Jiang Mingjun, and Li Ye inspected the teaching conditions at the Xuhui and Fengxian campuses respectively.
At the Xuhui Campus, Lin Zaiyong and Zhao Yang, along with their delegation, visited the classrooms of the Third Teaching Building to inspect the teaching conditions of undergraduate courses, as well as graduate courses. During the visit, the university leaders engaged in warm exchanges with the faculty and students, extending their regards to the teaching staffs.
Onthe Fengxian Campus, Chen Heng, Jiang Mingjun, Li Ye, and others conducted teaching inspections in Building 2, Building 3, and Building 5, assessing the faculty and student conditions, attendance, and teaching facilities. They engaged in friendly discussions with the teachers before class. The university's timetable now includes complete information for both undergraduate and graduate courses. The university leadership acknowledged the successful implementation of the integrated timetable for undergraduate and graduate courses. Dedicated staff conducted detailed checks on the presence of instructors in each teaching building and student attendance. Prior to the semester's start, various facilities and equipment in the teaching buildings were inspected to ensure smooth operations for the new semester. Additionally, theadministrative leaders of each college visited the teaching buildings to oversee the teaching conditions on the first day of the semester.
Overall, the morning classes across the university were conducted in an orderly manner, with each college performing well. All faculty and students greeted the new semester with high spirits.
