Recently, the FLL(First Lego League) Scientific Creation Activities and International Games (Shanghai Area) were held at Shanghai Zhongcheng Wise Valley(Zhigu) Industrial Park. It involved 9 teachers and 66 students volunteers from SHNU College of Information and Mechanical Engineering and AI Education Research Institute to participate in games approval, volunteers service and organization activities. These SHNU members serve thousands of candidates from 240 teams from Shanghai and Yangtze Delta Region.
Directed by National Center for Information Technology, the games appealed to the candidates to explore the entire journey of energy by meeting ever-changing challenges. Also, the candidates are encouraged to consider the conditions of energy storage, bring forward optimization plans so as to initiate their own energy resources schedules. The programs fall into three parts: children’s discoveries, teenagers’ exploration and youth’s robotic challenges.
The games also mark another innovative cooperation initiative with Shanghai Meicheng Information Technology Co., ltd. The SHNU student volunteers could access pioneering concepts and thinking modes in the education domains and promote the progression of AI+Education through such social practices as serving games for primary and secondary school students.
