Recently, a research team led by Meng Xiangzong, professor from SHNU College of Life and Environmental Sciences, published a paper at New Phytologist, with the title An EPFL peptide signaling pathway promotes stamen elongation via enhancing filament cell proliferation to ensure successful self-pollination in Arabidopsis thaliana. This paper releases new information about pathways of EPFL peptide regulating filament cell proliferation.

He Yunxia, a lab staff from SHNU College of Life and Environmental Sciences and He Xiaomeng, an SHNU master’s degree candidate are the first authors of the paper, and SHNU professor Meng Xiangzong is the corresponding author. The research is funded by NSFC (National Science Foundation of China).
