On November 19th, the China Station of Global Entrepreneurship Week held a sub-forum titled "A Shared Future: Innovation Conference on Land, Sea, and Air Technology Ecosystem" at the Shipyard PARK on Fuxing Island in Yangpu District, Shanghai. As a co-sponsor, Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) took the lead in establishing the "Research Center for Spatial Economy and Industry-Education Integration Innovation."
The conference, themed "Integration of Future Space and Technological Innovation," brought together over 300 representatives from state-owned funds, central enterprises, technology companies, and university delegates. In-depth discussions were held on technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading across maritime, terrestrial, and aerial domains. Professor Huang Guoyan, Director of the Research Center and Dean of the Business School, delivered a keynote speech on optimizing the ecosystem for private enterprise development and promoting high-quality growth in the low-altitude economy. She systematically analyzed industry policy directions and bottlenecks faced by enterprises, proposing strategic recommendations from dimensions such as institutional environment optimization, financial service support, and deep integration of industry and education.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week series of events is a significant initiative by Shanghai Normal University to deepen the integration of industry and education and serve regional development. Building on this new starting point, the university will leverage its newly established research center to focus on cutting-edge fields of future space and technological innovation, bridging the entire chain of "research—incubation—acceleration—industrialization."
