Our Students Win Bronze Prize in World’s Programming Contest

SHNU, Nov. 11: The preliminary contest and challenge match of the 32nd ACM-ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest hosted by Association for Computing Machinery) was held in Beihang University. The team from our university won the bronze prize.
 
    Altogether 98 teams from 51 universities and colleges in China took part in the contest. Our university offered a camp training program for those who signed up for the contest. And three students, Jin Yaohong, Dai Mingzhuang and Chen Liang were finally chosen to compete on behalf of our university.
 
    ACM-ICPC is hosted by Association for Computing Machinery, an authoritative international organization in the circle of computer technology. Initiated in 1970, it is a competition at the highest level and on the largest scale among college students in the world. This year, there are four venues for the Asian preliminary contests of ACM-ICPC in China, namely Beijing, Nanjing, Changchun and Chengdu.
