SHNU: The final of Choir Games of the faculty and staff, with the theme “To sing the songs of harmony together, to celebrate the 17th National Congress of CPC”, co-hosted by Publicity Department and Labor Union of our university, was held on Oct., 17 in the Eastern Hall. The golden prize winners were Xie Jin Film and Television Art College and the College of Law and Politics; the silver prize winners were the College of Humanities and Communication, the College of Education, and Foreign Languages College; the bronze winners were the High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University, Financial College, the General Company of Science & Technology Development, the Institute of Tourism and Shanghai Teachers Training Center; the College of Music was awarded the performance prize, while the other 10 teams that failed to enter the final got the merit rewards. Zhou Honggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of our University, extended best wishes for the convening of the 17th National Congress of CPC on behalf of the faculty. He highly praised the Choir Games in enriching the leisure time activities for all the faculty members and called on the whole school to build a harmonious campus. Other school leaders including Huang Gang, Xiang Jiaxiang, Zhang Guofeng, Yang Weiwu and Wang Lianhua were present at the games and awarded prizes to winners. Altogether 22 songs were sung by 10 teams that entered the final as well as the College of Music. Cheers and shouts from different cheering squads of all the competing teams made the atmosphere very heated.
