SHNU: An expedition ceremony was held on July 2 in honor of the social practice of SHNU graduate students in the summer vacation. SHNU Vice Party Secretary and Vice President Jiang Weiyi and staff from relevant departments and colleges attended the ceremony. Jiang spoke highly of the efforts and achievements that had been made by the Department of Graduate Student Affairs and required the graduate students to be fully prepared and do a good job in social practice. Relevant people of the Department of Graduate Student Affairs recollected the social practice of 2007 and reported on the preparation for the practice this year. The 3 teams bear different tasks: 10 doctoral candidates and postgraduates will go to Anlong County of Guizhou Province to teach; SHNU Charity School will help tutor the children of SHNU staff in their study; a team of graduate students will investigate how Shanghai Municipality has changed in the past 3 decades since the reform and opening up of China.
