SHNU: On June 18, SHNU President Li Jin and Vice-President Lu Jianfei received a delegation from the University of Indianapolis (UI). Relevant Staff from Musical College, International Exchange Division and other relevant people of SHNU attended the meeting. Li spoke highly of the interscholastic communication between the two universities in many fields especially in music education. He hoped the two sides could strengthen intercultural exchange in arts and expand the cooperation in other fields such as tourism and culture. UI and SHNU signed an agreement of interscholastic cooperation in October, 2006. Founded in 1902, UI has 4,300 students and offers 22 master’s and five doctoral programs, with several graduate programs ranked among the best in the country.
