SHNU: On June 17, the launching ceremony of training center of teaching skills and informatization platform of teacher training was held in Shanghai Teacher Training Base located in SHNU. Li Junxiu, an official from Shanghai Education Commission and SHNU President Li Jin spoke at the ceremony and unveiled the training center. The ceremony was hosted by SHNU Vice-President Xiang Jiaxiang. Chen Yongming, Dean of Education College of SHNU, introduced the teacher training informatization system. After it is put into use, the system will become the laboratory and place of training in improving the teachers’ ability in utilizing information to teach. After the ceremony, leaders and people concerned watched two classes that demonstrated long-distance teaching and teacher-student interaction, which displayed the charm of internet teaching: its unrestricted space, immediacy, high efficiency and visual directness.
