SHNU: On March 25 and 26, those people applying for positions of “Shenjiang Scholars” of our university were interviewed. SHNU vice president Lu Jianfei and Li Hexing presided over the interviews with liberal arts applicants and sciences applicants respectively. The applicants were asked to introduce their academic background, their plan and job objectives as a specially engaged professor. Expert interviewers then advanced questions on the applicants’ responsibilities and academic achievements. Interviewers and interviewees also exchanged views on how to build talent echelon and promote disciplinary construction. Ever since it was launched in last October, the “Shenjiang Scholar” program has attracted many scholars from different countries and regions in the world such as the U.S., France, Belgium，Singapore and Hang Kong.
