SHNU: Recommended by the Irish Consulate, the Dublin Youth Symphony Orchestra came to our university and put on a performance together with Wanfang Symphony Orchestra of our university. John Lynam, vice consul of Irish Consulate and Lu Jianfei, vice president of our university, were present and watched the performance.

Before the performance, Lu and Noleen Muholland the representative of the Orchestra exchanged gifts symbolizing the friendship between people of the two countries. They jointly performed classical pieces of music including Bach No. 5. With traditional instruments such as harps and sheep-skin drums, the Irish orchestra played their traditional music. Chanted with the beautiful music, the audience rewarded the orchestra with applauses from time to time.
