SHNU: A delegation from Kent State University (KSU) of America, headed by its Vice President Robert G. Frank, paid a visit to SHNU on June 16. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei received the guests. The two sides exchanged ideas about the establishment of Confucius Institute (CI) in KSU and agreed to hold an opening ceremony for CI in KSU at the end of this year. It has been reported that officials from Hanban and Consulate of China in New York have inspected the construction work and spoke highly of their work efficiency. They also discussed about jointly educating undergraduate students and conducting 3+2 programs in cultivating graduate students. Both sides wanted to sign an agreement by the end of the year and officially start these programs next year. (Edited by Jessica)
