SHNU: At 7 am on May 6th, the flag raising ceremony was witnessed by over 1,300 SHNU students to memorize their oath when joining in the Communist Youth League. On the same day, a seminar was convened by youth representatives for discussions of China’s President Hu Jintao’s speech during his visit to China Agricultural University. The 90th anniversary of May 4th Movement coincides with the 87th birthday of China’s Communist Youth League. Banners, slogans and publicity displays have added to the festive ambience of China’s youth spirits, namely, patriotism, progress, democracy, and science. (Editted by Rebecca)
