SHNU:On the 2007-2008 Awarding Ceremony of Shanghai Youth Volunteers, SHNU volunteers stood out and scooped several prizes. The awarding ceremony was attended by leaders from the Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Youth League, and Shanghai Youth Volunteers Association, etc. Gu Jiaqin, student from SHNU College of Physics, was conferred as one of the 10 Excellent Youth Volunteers of China for what he has done for the Special Olympics, snow disaster relieving programs, and the Beijing Olympics. Jiang Weiyi, SHNU Vice Party Secretary and Vice President, won the title of Outstanding Contributor, and among other prizes of Best Organization Individuals and Best Organization Prize for Groups.
