SHNU: On April 7th, the Conferring Ceremony of Oriental Scholars (VIP professors) for universities in Shanghai was held on SHNU, attended by Li Jin, SHNU President, Lu Jianfei and Li Hengxing, SHNU Vice Presidents, among other leaders of related departments of the university. Huang Lei, a young scholar from an overseas research institute, with the title of Oriental Scholar, signed a contract with SHNU before he received employee certificates from the university president. As an academic tycoon of photo-electronic physics, Huang expressed in his lectures his desire to promote the development of this field for SHNU. Also, SHNU urges for more gifted talents of oriental scholars to dedicate their wisdom, particularly in the field of comparative literature and world literature, and comparative pedagogy.
