SHNU: During 2008, SHNU witnessed a harvest in academic study, including 20 scientific research programs at provincial and ministerial levels, 28 monographs by SHNU teachers, 107 papers of CSSCI, 5 national and international academic conferences, etc. On December 24, 2008, the university held a work meeting on the construction of the SMEC fifth-term key disciplines on liberal arts.
