The Opening Ceremony of 1st Education Reform Class of SHNU College of Environment and Geography was held on November 5th and was attended by SHNU Vice President Li Ye, teachers’ representatives and 25 students of the class.
The SHNU Vice President Li Ye delivered a speech to encourage students to strive harder for a more intelligent globe and become better equipped with scientific innovation skills.
The new class made up of 25 students are freshmen from various majors, including geography, geographic information sciences, humanities geography and urban planning and environment engineering. The 25 winners were selected from about 200 undergraduate candidates this year.
