Xu Zhihong, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor of Peking University, and member of the Third World Academy of Sciences, visits SHNU and speaks on Origin of Crops, Changes of Planting Technology and Development of Modern Agriculture. He has long engaged in biology of plants development, cell culture and heritage, and biological research, etc.
He also pointed out the defects of Chinese agricultural structures, planting efficiency and qualities. After the speech, Xu was shown around the SHNU Plant Germplasm Resources Center and shared his ideas with the audiences.
