SHNU：On the invitation of Temple University, Boyer College of Music and Dance and Emporia State University, Wang Qi, flute teacher from SHNU College of Music, visited Philadelphia from April 2nd to 22nd.
Wang designed two solo flute concerts of different styles and another flute master’s class.
The songs included those of Baroque, classic, romantic, impressionistic categories and those of George Crumb’s.
Wang was once sent to study in France, and awarded in China several times. As the chief of several domestic orchestras, Wang has initiated solos in many countries like France, Italy, Japan and the US.
