Former SHNU President Yang Deguang Received by President Xi Jinping

SHNU: Former SHNU President Yang Deguang, as the representative of Shanghai, attended the National Commendation Meeting of Advanced Collectives and Individuals of Retired Cadres that was held in Beijing on November 26.

    Yang, a representative of the national advanced collective and individuals of retired cadres, was warmly interviewed by President Xi Jinping. Xi shook hands with all the representatives and spoke highly of the historical contribution of retired veteran cadres and staff. 

    Officials from Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres and Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Party Committee gave Yang a warm welcome. Vice SHNU Party Secretary Qin Liping, on behalf of SHNU Party Committee, gave hearty congratulations to Yang. “I can fully feel the central committee’s attention to the retire work, retired staff should make their due contribution to the realization of the Chinese dream,” Yang said with enthusiasm.
