The 5th National Contest of Teaching Skills for Teachers’ College was held at Zhejiang Normal University on December 8th and 9th. About 372 candidates from 123 teachers’ colleges rivalled in 6 subjects: Chinese language, math, English, physics, chemistry and biology. Six SHNU students competed in all six subjects and won awards: two second prizes and two third prizes.
The contest included education design, PPT production, model classroom blackboard writing and impromptu speech. The candidates have to finish their performances in 13 minutes and a preparation time of 150 minutes.
