SHNU: On June 14th, the fifth Chinese Vegetable Exhibition of New and Good-quality Species began at the Business-starting and Career Training Garden of Chinese Youth Vegetable Industry at Pudong, Shanghai. SHNU President Cong Yuhao attended the opening ceremony and the exhibition. This program involved such activities as vegetable show for scientific achievements, seed growing technology by vegetable intensification concept, management and innovation seminar, forum on vegetable production industry chain, theme talk on vegetable seeds chain operation patterns, field visit and agricultural inspection, etc. Over 800 people from administration departments of 28 provinces of China attended the conference. More than 1, 000 types of seeds home and abroad are shown, and 600 plus programs attracted the possibilities of cooperation. The SHNU Germplasm Center exhibited 18 types of vegetables, including spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers and green vegetables, etc. |
