SHNU: Sponsored by the World Bank, a delegation of 15 visited SHNU to explore the success secrets of Shanghai Primary Education on March 13th. It was hosted by Zhang Minxuan from SHNU International Comparative Education Research Institute at SHNU Conference Center. It was also attended by representatives from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the World Bank, and Kenya Embassy.
At the ceremony, Sun Hong, Vice Director of Office of Human Resources of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, welcome the visitors and introduced about the basics and important policies of Shanghai primary education. She hoped that both sides could share their experience of teacher development by releasing the success secrets of Shanghai education.
In the following week, SHNU would center on such themes as Teacher Professional Education and Development, Shanghai School Curricula Reforms, Exploration and Practices of Scientific Education, and Shanghai Special Education.
