SHNU: The Opening Ceremony of 2017 SHNU Overseas Students of Fall Season started on East Xuhui Campus on September 14th. It was attended by SHNU Vice President Xiaomin Liu, Dean of SHNU College of Business, Dean of ICCS (International College of Chinese Studies), Director of SHNU Department of International Affairs and other representatives.
The SHNU Vice President Liu extended his warm welcome to overseas students worldwide before he introduced about the basics of both Shanghai and SHNU. He also hoped that the students could develop a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and succeed in completing their learning life at SHNU.
At the ceremony, three overseas students’ candidates from Sierra Leone, Indonesia and Mongolia shared their learning journey at SHNU, and expressed their objectives in their future life.
Altogether 815 overseas students from 59 countries are enrolled this year at SHNU.
