SHNU： On September 16th, the Opening Ceremony of Postgraduates was held on Xuhui campus of SHNU and involved over 2, 800 new students to attend. It was also attended by SHNU leading authorities, and representatives of supervisors, alumni, and other postgraduates. It was hosted by Qinfei Ke, SHNU Vice President and Dean of SHNU Department of Postgraduates.
SHNU President Ziqiang Zhu welcomed the arrival of newcomers and introduced about the development and history of SHNU, education principles, paragon teachers, education conditions and rewarding mechanisms of management. He hoped that students could bring into play their talents and fulfill themselves for national development.
The students were also informed about information on library resources, campus information use and campus security measures.
It is noted that 2, 888 postgraduates were enrolled in SHNU, including 166 doctor’s degree candidates, 2,674 master’s degree candidates and 48 overseas students.
