SHNU: A delegation of 12 headed by Dr. Fu Yiping from Radford University of the U. S. paid a visit to SHNU the other day. This is the 5th cultural expedition of teachers and students from Radford to China.
SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei met members of the delegation. Also present were relevant people from International Exchange Division and professors from College of Fine Arts.
Lu expressed hearty welcome to the visitors and thanked Fu for building a bridge of cross-cultural communication between Chinese and American students. The American guests learned some calligraphy, Chinese painting and Tai Chi in the College of Fine Arts, and paid a visit to Shanghai Museum and the Expo.
The interscholastic exchanges between Radford and SHNU started in 2006.
