SHNU: On April 26th, a Chinese Book Show, hosted by SHNU Botswana Confucius Institute, was held in Gaborone Public Library of Botswana. The 300 books on show are chosen from 1, 000 odd books gifted by the general quarters of Confucius Institute, concerning Chinese landscape, history, civilization, political economy, arts and culture. Some are printed in English, while others are half Chinese and half English. DVD is played on the scene so as to enhance visitors’ understanding of China and her culture. The one-week-long book show is sponsored by Botswana National Library and Gaborone Public Library, located in the capital of Botswana. |
