The other day, 70 pictures showing the study and life of students in Confucius Institute of Botswana were displayed on the exhibition celebrating the 35th anniversary of establishment of Sino-Botswanian diplomatic relations that was held in the Chinese Embassy in Botswana.
Those pictures reflected the interactions between the two governments and its people, their cooperation in trade and investment, communication in culture, education and health care, introduction of China-invested enterprises in Botswana, etc. About 300 people from all walks of life in the country attended the
exhibition.
It is also reported that the Confucius Institute has set up a Chinese Culture club and over 100 people applied for membership of the club. After examination, a 30-people chorus and a 10-people cucurbit flute group were established. The chorus was also officially invited to perform in the evening party of Chinese
in Botswana in the Chinese Spring Festival.
